The resources utilized for proposal cost estimation are not individual personnel, but rather collective groups or pools of individuals. Each member within a resource or labor pool operates under the same cost rate and possesses a comparable skill set, such as consultants, associate consultants and senior consultants in a given profit center or service line in your company. These resource groups are generally aligned with a fusion of work-center or cost center and activity type within SAP, and correspond to a designated group resource ID within Primavera P6, ProPricer or another project management toolset.

To add or edit resource groups click on "Resource Pools" under the "Master Data" menu.

You will see a list of all the resource groups in your application, where you can:

1. Filter your resources to search for specific resource groups
2. Sort by any column such as resource code or description. Double-click on any row to edit the resource details
3. Download this list to Excel
