After clicking on (3) ADVANCED SEARCH into the list of reference work packages to copy from, shown above, you will see a popup similar to the one below showing you a list of matching work-packages together with pertinent information such as project, year and custom tag values, as well as smart filter options on the left side where you can check and filter the list based on the displayed counts.
In the advanced search screen you can:
- Check or uncheck any filter (or "facet" as they are called in search terminology) to show or hide reference work-packages, matching the description (2). The count of results matching each filter or facet value (on top of pre-existing checked filters) is displayed also
- Modify the description of the work-package you are searching for, which reloads the search list and associated filters or facets
- Select any one of the reference work-packages or scope items to copy, leading to the copy control screen mentioned below
- Click on the COPY button to select what to copy (see below)
- Or cancel and return to the screen above
The filters (facets) and columns which are displayed, as well as the relative weightings given to the values of each filter or facet (in this case the importance of matching on system, type, site, function (tag) or role (tag)) are configurable and can be altered by your implementation consultant working with you to set up search scenarios.
