Explains how to keep track of your own attendance and missing time using My Time & Attendance
List view of My Time & Attendance
My Time & Attendance helps you to view all time you have booked in your timesheets, or clock in/out for attendance, including any days or weeks with missing time and any overtime. You can further do the following:
- You can filter out your time & attendance by 'Missing' or 'All Time' (missing option only shows days or weeks where time booked < standard working hours). You can Group dates by week or month with sub-totals
- Pick a date range for which you want to see your time & attendance
- An employee can view his 'Utilization' which is calculated automatically as total time booked / total working hours between from/to dates selected. Time booked to internal or non-billable projects still counts towards Utilization (there are separate reports for billable utilization factors)
- The list shows date, work schedule, your standard working hours, booked time, time off, attendance, billable time, earliest clock in for that day, latest clock-out for that day, missing time and excess time (where excess time is time booked minus standard working time). Employee can double click on any row to edit their booked time (as highlighted in purple)
- The 'warning' icon represents that the employee hasn't booked time yet or some other issue. Click or mouse over the warning triangle to see the message text.
Missing time is calculated on a daily basis as working time minus time booked for employees on a daily work-schedule. For employees with flex-time arrangements on a weekly work-schedule missing time is calculated only on a weekly basis, meaning that the weekly working time minus sum of time booked over the entire week is display in the first day "row" for that particular week. Filtering the from/to dates mid-week can give unexpected results in this scenario.
