Recording Time to Multiple Tasks using the Timer
You can record time to one task using the timer, and the record time to another task while the first timer is still running. If you do this the first timer will keep running.
iBE is working on an enhancement to ask the user or automatically stop existing timers if a new one is started in parallel. Contact us for more information on this enhancement or if you require it.
Fixing Overlapping Timers
There are two ways to fix over-recording of time (time booked to multiple tasks at once):
- Manually correct the elapsed time in each timer before it is imported to your timesheet (previous topic)
- Manually correct the time after it has been imported into your timesheet.
It is easier to manually correct time after it has been imported into your timesheet because the timesheet view displays total hours each day for a quick comparison.
