Proposal Files
From the proposal SETUP tab you can upload files by clicking on the "Upload RFX Files" button. Files are either selected from your network or local computer, or a url to a file in Sharepoint, Google Drive or another file management tool is copied in.
Files can also be uploaded on other screens anytime you see a button or link to upload files.
To download files click on the same link, such as "Upload RFX Files (2)" or click on any other file upload link. If you previously uploaded one or more files you will see a popup like the one shown below.
The number in (brackets) after the link or button text is the number of files previously uploaded.
- Previously upload files are listed, with the file name, size, when it was changed last and by whom
- Click on the download button on the far right to download any of these files to your computer desktop and view them. You must have an application installed which is able to read and open that type of file
- If you wish to create a new version of a file click on the radio button to the left of the file, select the new file you want to replace the selected file with, and click on "New Version" link at the bottom. The New Version button will only be active when you have selected a file to be replaced
- If you wish to delete a file click on the radio button to the left of the file you no longer need and click on the Delete File button at the bottom of this popup.
If you company does not allow file storage on the underlying database then you can only paste links or URL addresses of files in Sharepoint, Google Drive, Dropbox etc. Click on the file link to view that file in the file management application your company uses (login required)
