Explains how to create role based menus
Role Based Menus
To create role based menus go to System > Screen Layout > Menus & Roles. From this screen follow the procedure to create the menus based on roles.
- Select Job roles from the dropdown for which you wish to create menus. For example we have selected 'Consultant'
- Under the Menus sections click on the 'Add Menu' button in green
- This will open a popup screen where you need to define the type of menu you want to add. For example we have selected ExtId as 'timeExpensesMain', the rest of the fields i.e. label and icon will auto-populate. Press confirm button to add.
- Similarly we have added another menu i.e. System or you can add any from the dropdown
- Once you are sure that you have added the menus, click on save icon
Once Consultants will log in they will see the menus we just defined below.
